What is MTS and how does it work?
MTS connects to the machine's PLC (programmable logic controller), the controller that already runs the platform or hoist. The PLC data is sent to the MTS application, so the machine's operating state can be followed without being on site.
In practice this means that operators, site managers and technical service teams see the same information:
- connection and operating status of every machine,
- inputs, outputs, safety switches, alarms and fault signals,
- voltage and current measurements with historical energy charts,
- service history, materials used and shipment records.

What does MTS show on mast climbing work platforms?
On the P1500 and P3000, MTS follows electrical parameters such as motor current and voltage in real time, together with the safety and fault signals coming from the PLC. On the twin-mast P3000, the responses of the automatic levelling system become part of the record, so the balance status of the deck can be reviewed in live data and in reports. Deviations become visible before they turn into a stoppage.
What does MTS show on construction hoists?
On the H1500 and H2000 hoists, MTS monitors energy and current information, machine position, current and peak load values, whether the load stays stable during operation, drive status and faults. These values support maintenance planning: a technician sees what happened before arriving on site.
How do alarms, service records and reports work?
- Alarms and faults: alarm and fault signals appear as soon as the PLC reports them, so the responsible team can react quickly.
- Service and inventory: structured service records, inventory movements and shipments are stored per machine. Signed service forms can be attached as PDF, and records can be sent to the customer by email.
- Reporting: search by serial number, filter by date range and export in bulk as XLS or PDF for analysis, archiving or sharing.
- Remote control: PLC integration allows authorised users to intervene remotely; user management keeps these operations protected.
How is MTS different from generic IoT telematics?
Generic telematics boxes usually report location and engine hours. MTS reads the machine's own PLC signals, so it shows the safety switches, inputs/outputs, alarms and electrical values of a mast climber or hoist, and it links them to the service, inventory and shipment history of that exact machine.
